From all animals birds seem to excite the most admiring envy in humans - ability to fly allows birds to look down upon us in all senses. This natural superiority, along with beauty and amazing features of these creatures, made birds an important part of people’s vision of the world and a human in it. We associate love and piece with white pigeons, we are amazed by the unshakable loyalty of swans and black crow is a symbol of sorrow and loneliness. Even one of the major symbols of digital era Twitter owes it’s name and concept to a bird. Very often bird is a strong association with human’s soul, maybe because it’s the only “part” of a man that can freely live in the clouds.

Our today’s post is about birds. Just look at how huge and divers this feathered community is! Another striking evidence of nature’s beauty and wisdom. Enjoy a wonderful photo collection below!

Photoblog is a great way for a photographer to express themselves on the Web: it allows visual creatives to speak by means of things they do best of all - pictures. While “regular” bloggers have to spend countless hours searching for the right words that will bring them to top lists of the blogosphere, photobloggers can take advantage of a visual language, using minimum of text message.  What once started as a journal of daily photo submissions, now has turned into a powerful way of online self-promotion and even money making. A fair potential of photoblog as a web medium was quickly caught up by the evolving technology, thus wide distribution of inexpensive digital cameras, global adoption of broadband Internet connections and the advent of mobile devices with in-built cameras led to the fantastic popularity of photoblog activity.

Let’s take a closer look at why you might need a photoblog and how you could make it get noticed in the field which is pretty much crowded today (one of the major photoblog directories Photoblogs.org lists over 32,000 photoblogs!). Continue Reading

It’s time for a new portion of photography website design inspiration. While searching for some beautiful and unique photo websites we felt a strong lack of fresh photography portfolios. It seems photographers tend to give up the design side of their websites and we find this tendency rather depressing. With an unbelievable growth of social networks photographers sacrifice personal web identity to fast and effortless (and plain) public photo galleries on Flickr and similar networks.

In spite of this, we believe that unique approach can be very rewarding as standing out among competitors is crucial for success.  We hope that by the time of our next photo website design showcase, a bunch of new wonderful sites will appear on the Web. By the way, if you have any suggestions write them in comments to this post!
