Big City Life: The Decisive Moments of Street Photography
Anyone who enjoys traveling can confirm that the soul of a city is in its streets. Usual sightseeing routes will never let you feel the rhythm of the city you are visiting. That’s why street photography is always interesting and meaningful, it is great for not observing places only, but people as well. Urban photographs show the moment as it is - most of people shot by street photographers don’t even suspect they are being photo models right now, and this is what gives the pictures such expressiveness, purity and liveliness.
Below you can find a collection of great urban photography examples from all over the world. Each of them captures a unique moment of vibrant, complicated and so often indifferent city life. Every picture contains a link to the photographer’s gallery or photography overview, so you could browse other works of the admired author.

So big city photography is mostly about taking photos of passion that perhaps should be left unexpressed?
