How do you react when you come in to the room, turn on the light and then start from sudden loud “Surpriiise!” No doubts, your eyebrows raise, eyelids open and the jaw slowly drops. These features are expressed on the face when a person is surprised. Depending on the nature of the unexpected event that causes the surprise, this emotion may get some additional tones. For example, a smile or roars of laughter reflect some pleasant news or a good prank, while eyes popping out the head together with anxious wrinkles across the forehead indicate the surprise is unpleasant, or even depressing.
