Summer is at its height which means that the time of vacations, travel, and heat is in its swing! Freezing here at air-conditioned office, we want you to breathe some sunny vibrant energy into our white as snow bodies. We want to share the fun summer moments with you that will warm us up throughout the year.
We are looking for photos that reveal the spirit of summer. We want to see tropical beaches, gorgeous sunsets, summer fields, flowers in full bloom and many more. Take us on a rocking road trip across the country, or fly us to some exotic land to feel what the summer is like there. Have us watch families picnic, children play, outdoorsmen fish, and the youth dance. Show us what SUMMER means to you!
ELIGIBILITY:The photo contest is open to residents of any country aged 16 or older at the time of entry.
DEADLINE: 11:59 p.m. ET, August 31, 2009.
TO ENTER: The contest begins… NOW! To enter, use the submission form or email us at contest [at] readyphotosite [dot] com. All the entrants will be required to provide an entry, which will include: entrant’s name, email address, website address or link to the profile on some photo sharing website like Flickr.com, digital image, image caption and the short story behind it. Please submit images that are relatively large.
CONDITIONS: One entrant can submit no more than one photo for the contest (choose the best one!). Please submit your photos as .jpg or .png. We recommend submitting high resolution images (minimum 300 dpi), up to 5 MB. If you choose to submit lower resolution files for review purposes, please confirm that higher resolution versions are available.
The photo should be taken in the summer of 2009. The summer pics from previous years are not eligible. All submissions must be family friendly. The submission must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Copyrights of the photograph shall remain with the photographer at all times. However, all entrants agree to grant ReadyPhotoSite.com permission to use the work for promotional purposes, in any of their publications, electronic media or printed materials. Entrants also understand the work may be published in affiliated newspapers, magazines, and periodicals, solely for the purpose of promoting the work, the photographer, and the Contest. We reserve the right to use the photos in ReadPhotoSite design themes as the sample photos in the gallery or/and as the background image in the header or/and the body (as a general rule the photos are being replaced by the works of photograher/artist who buy our products).
ENTRY FEE: Free!
JUDGING: The 3 Grand contest winners will be chosen upon users vote within two weeks of the closing date. One user may give their voice once for one picture only.
The 3 Premium winners will be selected by the 5 invited professional photographers. The photographers’ names are to be announced once the photo contest is closed.
PRIZES: The 1st place Grand winner will receive $1000 in cash in addition to being featured in the interview as the winner on ReadyPhotoSite.com.
The 2nd place winner will be awarded a free Ecommerce ReadyPhotoSite Package.
The 3rd place winner will get a free Advanced ReadyPhotoSite Package.
The Premium winners will be awarded the free Advanced ReadyPhotoSite Packages each.
NOTE! We will publish the showcases of entrant’s photos periodically while the contest is lasting. So, check back from time to time!

you enter ur photo the contest people get all rights. if you win you can’t sell the winning photo to anyone ever! or use it for your personal gain etc. $1000 is a little cheap for a lifetime of the photograph
$1000 is not a “big prize” for “big photographer” but is a great opportunity for those, who are not being published is popular magazines yet. A photographer takes hundreds if not thousands photos every month and only a few greatest of these are usually sold. If you think that you can sell your photo for more, just don’t submit it

When you guys ask for “websites” do you mean places like MySpace and Facebook?
Yes, links to your account on some website where you usually upload your photos to share, on in case you have your own website set up then the link to your site

Firstly, there’s a big RSS button in the blog’s header . That’s how yo subscribe.
Secondly, we publish showcases of the submitted photos twice a week on our blog. So, check it out from time to time
Im trying to submit my photo and it says “Fill Required Data” in the phone numebr box…I put my phone numebr in though. So, I am not sure why it wont work. Any thoughts?? Thanks
